Impact extruded components do not require a conical taper! The contour-parallel fiber flow and work hardening during forming increase the strength. Impact extruded housings, cups, sleeves are free of blowholes, inclusions and absolutely tight.
The tool costs are significantly lower (only one cavity possible). For small and medium solution sizes, impact extrusion is a technically and economically interesting alternative.
